About Us
Mush Minnesota, LLC came to life after it was observed there was an increasing demand for dryland dog sports. These activities include bikejoring, scooterjoring, canicross, & dryland rig activities. There were no other dog sporting
clubs offering dryland opportunities and aside from skijoring, the opportunities for the recreational or
small[er] team musher were rapidly declining.
With the assistance of social media, in 2015 several dog groups were polled and it was very apparent there was a desire for dog pulling sports activities. Thus the social media group Dryland Dog Sports Enthusiasts of MN was created. With the dissolving of decades-old North Star Sled Dog Club in 2019, we began incorporating traditional dog sledding into our social meet-up activities. In 2021 our social group changed names to Mush Minnesota.

Mush Minnesota LLC has sponsored numerous free events for our participants. From fall overnight camping & trail runs; to beating the heat with our annual summer Fluff 'n Float canoe/kayaking event, and seasonal trail runs (September- May) at park and trail systems throughout Minnesota. In the off-season, we offer trainings such as dogsled maintenance and gangline making activities. All of our social meet up activities are free and we charge a nominal
supply fee for our trainings, such as our gangline making clinic.

To date, we continue to work with local park and trail systems to help secure safe places for this sport; whether it be by special use permit, permission, or an addendum to park rules. We are committed to educating the public about this sport by providing demonstrations at community & dog events or by special interested groups. We are thrilled to offer free
dog powered sports training to a northern breed, nonprofit rescue based in Minnesota.

We know the costs associated with any hobby can add up over time. In 2019 we began to publicly sell our dog powered sport lines. Our mission is to provide dog drivers with affordable and quality dog sledding lines without excessive up charges nor coercive selling practices. Quality craftsmanship with timely processing is our promise to you.
